1. What kind of materials do you use in your creations?
I use a variety of materials but mainly sterling silver, gold filled and copper metals, artisan lampwork beads, semi-precious and some precious gemstones, swarovski crystals (gotta have some BLING!), czech glass, seed beads and whatever else strikes my creative fancy.

2. How did you get into this form of art?
I was playing in a soccer tournament here in San Diego and one of my teammates talked me into going to a wirewrapping class between games.  I had so much fun that I took a few more classes, started buying supplies and here I am 4.5 years later having a great time designing jewelry and trying to learn more techniques to create jewelry.
3. What inspires you? Do you have a plan before you make a piece, or do the
materials “speak” to you?

4. Do you have a certain design style?
I don’t think so.  I’m pretty much all over the map.  I do basic stringing, wire wrapping, and am now starting to do beadweaving as well.  I’m also trying to use more metals in designs so I’m starting to hammer and polish and do more intricate wire wrapping.

5. What is your favorite technique?
Hmm – that’s a tough one.  I’m really enjoying beadweaving now that I finally took a class and understand it better.  But I also REALLY like wirewrapped dangle designs since they sound so neat with all the glass and metals tinkling against one another and they have so much flash with all the dangles.

6. Other than Etsy, where could someone find your creations?
I’m selling on consignment on both the east and west coast.  You can find my designs at Gili Anna’s in La Jolla California ( and at The Bead and Glass Boutique in Pitman, New Jersey (

7. What is your favorite part of being a member of EtsyBEAD?
I love the challenges we’ve done and hearing ideas/problems from fellow beaders which helps us all know we’re not alone with the various (and often similar) problems we have with our businesses and sales and we can all be inspired by each others idea.

Here’s a picture of my most favorite wire wrapped dangle bracelet:

Here’s a picture of my favorite watch style – wraparound.  This is MY watch – with some gorgeous, one of a kind lampwork beads all in purple!

I attached a picture of Tony (my hubby) and I in Paris on top of the Arc d’Triomphe (hubby and I were on vacation) with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Yes we did walk up all 254 steps to get to the top!
