Guidelines, Requirements and Rules

Goal:

The etsyBEAD Street Team members wish to convey a professional, consistent and cohesive group name recognition and image by utilizing a logo that will be recognizable as exclusively the “etsyBEAD Street Team” logo.  This logo will also be incorporated into all graphics used by the membership, specifically, but not limited to Etsy Street Team Page, Flickr pages, blogs, website, print and promotional material as needed to assure the desired consistent name and image recognition.

Specifications:

The Logo Must Include:  the wording “etsyBEAD” in it.

1. Full Color Logo to accommodate the banner sizes below.
2. Full Black & White Logo to accommodate the banner sizes below.
3. Banner:  760 pixels wide x 100 pixels tall (full color) to include logo and a second size banner for the Blog that is:  904 pixels wide x 160 tall.
4. Avatar Graphic:  75 pixels x 75 pixels (full color) to include logo.
5. Color Palette and Font Scheme List.
6. Accepted File Types: .jpg

Contest Rules:

Contest is open ONLY to membership of etsyBEAD.

Each entry must include all elements listed in specifications and each member shall be limited to two (2) full entry submissions.

etsyBEAD username required with submission and contact email address.

Entries agree to assign all copyrights of the submitted design(s) to the members of etsyBEAD without compensation. Winning artist also agrees that etsyBEAD may use their name and likeness in any public relations or publication without further consideration or compensation

Entries submitted are to be original designs and shall not incorporate any elements of another copyright holder.

Etsy and the members of etsyBEAD are not to be held liable for any damages arising from this Contest.

CALL for Entries:

Entries will be accepted beginning TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. (EST)

Deadline for Entries:  All entries must be received by midnight THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2008 at 12:00a.m. (EST)

Judging

Polls will be open from MAY 26, 2008 at 8:00 AM THRU MAY 31, 2008 AT 12:00 AM (EST)

The poll will be set up the etsyBEAD/WordPress Blog.  Members ONLY of etsyBEAD will be able to vote.

WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2008 AT 10:00 AM!

In the event of a tie a second polling vote will be held to decide winner.
